Comments about Cardone Master Cylinder - Remanufactured:

The install was fast untill it was time to get the rest of the air out of the system. Evan with a bench bleed and gravity bleed it felt like i was installing an old school fiftys style system. The bleed sucked! I liked the price and the other parts were on pair but the passage if air was, well i used choice words whil finishing.

I have gone through 3 faulty reman master cylinders. Upon bleeding brakes the master cylinder still sucks in air through the rear line seal. Very frustrating.

So after taking two of these back I paid the difference between this and part number 13-2352. Trust me cut to the chase and buy 13-2352 now. The difference even before I bled the system was night and day. I have never before came across a part that was just plain trash but this one is just that. They should even bother stocking it.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

Its most likely swollen seals in the master cylinder blocking the relief port. This is normally caused by mineral oil in the brake fluid, look for a swollen gasket on the cap. If this is the case, you will need to flush the brake system with brake cleaner and lots of new fluid to prevent further problems.
