Comments about Cardone Remanufactured Brake Master Cylinder:

These have a lifetime warranty and I exchanged a five yr. old one for another replacement. The reservoir cap which may be going on forty years old was paper thin from years of being recycled back into service through bead blasting off the rust and recoating and leaked from excessive flexing when secured by the wire reservoir retainer. The cylinder bore on my first one always seeped a little more fluid than a new one. Bottom line: Fill the master up with brake fluid and hold it upside down with the cap secured to check for leaks before installing. This one leaked through the cap and ruined allot of under hood paint on my show car. Best bet is to buy a new one or at least buy a new chrome cap for this one. The rest of the master seemed up to standard.
