Q:I have a 2004 dodge intrepid se 2.7 engine with standard steering and was wondering if I can install a proportional steering rack and pinion in it? My rack and pinion is bad and have to replace it so I was wondering if I can replace it with the proportional steering.
A:I'm happy to help, Jason! To convert your 2004 Dodge Intrepid SE 2.7L V6 with standard steering to the proportional steering, you will need more than the Cardone Remanufactured Rack and Pinion Complete Unit (Part No. 22-346). The power steering gear utilizes a solenoid that controls the return line pressure. This solenoid is controlled by the BCM, which receives its signal from the PCM.
Q:what is the body code
