  • Q:

Where do this part go on a 2005 hyundai sonata
Asked on 6/20/2015 by lady T

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Happy to answer your question Lady T! Your vehicles comes in a 2.4litre 4 cylinder and a 2.7litre V6 cylinder. For the 4cylinder the coolant temperature sensor will be (with hood open facing the engine) on the right side of the engine to the left of the coolant hose mounted to head. For the 2.7litre V6 it would be mounted to the right side of the engine near the coil packs. Look for where the spark plug wires are connected and it will be below that. You can also refer to a repair manual (Part No 43055 or 32205) or a certified mechanic.

      A:

The Engine Coolant Temperature sensor should be located at the front of the engine near the fuel rail on passenger side of your vehicle. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
