I should have purchased it sooner

Dificult to attach all the wires on the outgoing side because terminal needs to be a little longer.

I bought this starter solenoid as a replacement for my 1992 Ford F150 2wd 5.0L 3 speed automatic. I got the truck at auction and found a spare solenoid in the truck cab, in addition to the one in the engine compartment. Both of those solenoids looked old and used so I decided to just buy a new one so I wasn't chasing electrical problems while trying to get my truck running. The saleman sold me the "select" branded solenoid instead of the regular one. Well, the select solenoid wouldn't accept the factory battery cable becuase of the formed rubber strain relief which holds the ends of the cables together in a "paired" configuation. The salesman cost me 25 miles of driving and over an hour of my time by selling me an electrical part that didn't fit and I now can't return. I wound up pulling a used solenoid off of another vehicle. So much for "exact fit". By the looks of everyone else's reviews of this product, I'm probably better off anyway.

Bought to replace one that periodically stuck closed (constant cranking).
First try, new one stuck and never returned.
Now the truck wont start at all, even with the old one.
