Worked for me 1990 Chevy G30 Van

About Me Mechanic

Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Relay:

On my 1990 Chevy G30, this relay is taped to the TOP of a cable harness to the left of the steering wheel. You have to remove the speedo cluster to see it. Look for Green, Black, and Orange wires. Unwrap the single black tape and let it dangle so you can get to it from underneath. The relay has locking tabs so just let the new one dangle.

      DOES NOT FIT!

      By

      from St. Petersburg, Florida

Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Relay:

This relay does not fit where it should. It certainly is not the horn relay as it is advertised. It's a relay, just not for the horn. The one I got from a different part store was the right fit.

      • Q:

Where is the horn relay located on a 1985 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham, 305 V8, 5.0, automatic. Horn started blowing on it's own on my way to work, pulled the fuse & it's good, so next logical thing is to replace the relay but I do not know where it is.

          A:

Hi Dave! Since you don't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to say the exact location. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
