    30 second job,89 chevy van.note;red wire dangling by relay is use to bypass fuel pump relay to test pump with 12 volt fused positive jumper lead

      I bought this to change it on a 99 oldsmobile silhouette and can't find it anywhere on the vehicle have looked in a manual and still have no clue where its located. Can you help please.

        A:

        check your two fuse boxes one is between your passenger door and the dashboard and the other is located in your engine labelled engine relay center. This BWD Relay - part# R4005Z should be located in either of the two boxes as it is a multi-purpose realy.

        It is located on the firewall on the passengerside of vehicle, if your replacing one replace the other if equipped with two.
