  • Q:

For how long does this relay delay OFF (in seconds)? Is the delay interval adjustable? If so, what is the minimum delay?

      A:

I'm happy to help, Joe! This BWD Headlight Delay Relay (Part No. R3074) does not have the delay built into its circuitry. The delay is adjustable on the vehicle. Your vehicle's owner's manual will likely provide the possible delay times.

Hi Ron, glad to assist you! Open the hood for access to the engine compartment. Locate the fuse panel behind the battery. Open the fuse panel by pushing in the tabs on the side and lifting the cover up. Locate the diagram on the back of the cover to locate the position of the relay. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
