      A:

With reference to your inquiry on the BWD Oil Pressure Switch -part# S4056P, the oil pressure switch on your Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme would be located just behind the starter on the engine. This is between the starter and the oil filter, mounted on the engine block. This may cause the low oil light to come on. However, I would suggest you to get assistance from a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance, you may also call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

      A:

The oil pressure switch should be located in the engine block, above and little to the right of the oil filter. Basically right above the starter motor. Best to also disconnect the battery so you don’t accidentally arch the positive battery starter cable and cause more problems.
