I tried to fix my glowing check engine light by throwing parts at it. However, this part combined with cleaning the throttle body DID solve my problem.

Went from ~15mpg to ~19mpg by changing the MAP sensor; this will pay for itself after 4 fillups.

Broke my MAP Sensor while doing an intake swap. Ordered this Map Sensor online late at night[...]. Fitment was right, quality seems good, only time will show the duribility. Thanks

I drive an 03 Trailblazer. I really noticed the MPG after changing it out. I put $40 in my tank on Monday and didnt have to refuel until the end of the week. Best product i've brought in months. I wish i'd known sooner. I spend an average $65-$80 on fuel each week. But not anymore.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

Changing this sensor differs from vehicle to vehicle, you can visit you local Advance Auto Parts store, and purchase a Haynes Repair Manual for your particular vehicle and it will give you step by step instructions, or call 1-877-ADVANCE with your vehicle information and an agent can further assist you.
