      Hi Rick, glad to help you! The knock sensor screws in to the engine cylinder block and is directly under the intake manifold, which requires removal on the intake in order to replace it. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
