Comments about BWD/Intermotor EGR Vacuum Modulator:

I had a Check Engine Light on my 98 Camry for a long time, so I decided to finally give a go in fixing it. This part solved the problem, even though I did replace the VSV valve first. However, this was the culprit, so I would advise replacing this first for that code and then the VSV if the code does not go away.

Comments about BWD/Intermotor EGR Vacuum Modulator:

If you are a 1997-2001 4 cyl Camry owner and get a P0401 OBDII Code - Insufficient EGR Flow, go ahead and replace this part (2 minutes!). If the code doesn't clear after install, replace the EGR VSV (Vacuum Solenoid Valve), also available from Advance Auto Parts.

Just type in egr vacuum modulaor or transducer into a search engine. It will take a little searching but good information is available.
