Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Ignition Control Module:

I was expecting all sorts of grief installing theis in my wife's 2003 Saturn LS200. I mostly deal with older vehicles, i.e. pre 1980. When I picked this up and opend the box and realized where it went on the engine. I was pleasently surprised. The old one came out with tow bolts and this one just popped right back in no problem. Each time I do a job on that car I'm surprised how easy it was to do. While was at I also did the igniton coil at the same time. That was only four bolts. The instructions were clear and concise.

Hi BEEKY, with reference to your inquiry on the BWD Ignition Control Module - part# CBE762, the coil pack and or even the ignition control module may be the possible cause of the problem on your vehicle. However, without the presence of the vehicle we could neither diagnose the problem nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest you to get assistance from a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance, you may also call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

it was a trial and error since there is no actual way to test it i was lucky that my brother's sisterin law had the same type of motor and before spending extra money we took her coil pack and tried it and then it did the same thing so it had to be the module
