Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Headlight Switch:

Even without directions, this was a straightforward removal and install. I gently pried out the OEM switch with a screwdriver padding the sides to prevent paint flaking on the dash. Once removed I carefully released the two connection sockets in the back. Use caution as the connections do not have really long wires. That was it for removal as there are no screws or bolts holding the switch in place. I then plugged the connections into the back of the BWD switch - one cannot mix them up as each only fits its matching socket. The good news is the lights work as they are supposed to not like gremlins in the dash. The great news is that the old switch was causing battery drain and other computer problems, which as of now are fixed.

Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Headlight Switch:

It was easy out and in for installation. the problem is there are no installation instructions included. I had to use my Chilton manual for it. once I read it, no problem. Took less than 5 minutes for removal of old and replacement of new.

      A:

The headlight switch could possibly be the problem. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.

Yes, turn it to headlight position and pull out on the knob gently. An orange light will come on beside the knob.
