      Hi Michael, this part does not come with installation instructions. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

      Hi Daniel, yes, this part could possibly the problem. However, I would suggest that you to take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

    is this part what switches from bright lights to regular lights? my problem is I clicked my bright lights on and all the lights went out! now none of the light are coming on. no clicking sound ether??????

      Yes it is... Controls high & low beams for the headlights. A metal rod runs from the turn signal to a button on the dimmer switch.

      Hi mel, glad to assist you! This part is used to change the bright lights to regular lights(dim lights). I would suggest you to take your vehicle and thoroughly checked with a certified local mechanic before buying the parts that may/may not solve the problem.
