  • Q:

I have an OBD-II code that states "Reductant injector circuit open" What is meant by Reductant injector? Is that just a term for a fuel injector?

      A:

"Reductant injector circuit open" means you have a fault with number 1 injector bank 1, open circuit. The cause may be wiring/the injector, more likely the injector, but we recommend that you check the wiring first. You can replace only the faulty injector and leave the other good injectors. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
