      A:

With respect to your inquiry on the BWD Switch - Part No. FWD34 2HI means 2 wheel drive high range, also used on the street on good roads. Auto 4WD is Automatic and the transfer case will automatically shift from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive whenever wheel spin is detected. This is where you would leave it most of the time on the street. 4HI is 4 wheel drive high range. Mostly used for off roar or driving on snow covered roads. Finally 4LO is 4 wheel drive low range. Use this off road when you intend to go slow and need lots of power.
