Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve:

Perfect fit. Was able to change the EGR and PCV valves on my 2005 Freestyle 3.0 without removing the air intake. Yes, tight fit, but was able to make it happen. Tip: remove the EGR valve not at the two bolts that hold it onto the bracket mounted to the air intake, but leave them tight and remove the three bolts that holds the bracket to the air intake. Then use a vise to hold the EGR assembly to remove the two bolts between the EGR and the assembly.

Comments about CARQUEST by BWD Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve:

This is a great product that fits perfectly.

In a Ford five hundred is a challenging task to install it. It's located between the motor and the firewall. If you don't know the how to…don't go there…just pay a pro to do it.

Hi RJ, happy to help you! The CARQUEST by BWD Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (Part No. EGR1797) comes with a limited lifetime replacement warranty. The limited lifetime warranty part can be refunded for cash/credit within the 90 days time frame. After that time expires, it can only be exchanged for a new item.
