Q:Where is the Engine Oil Level Sensor located on a 07 Chevy impala
A:I'm glad to assist, Roc! The engine oil level sensor on a 2007 Chevrolet Impala 3.5L V6 and 3.9L V6 is located on the bottom of the oil pan toward the front of the engine. Please make sure to provide your engine size when searching for products or information about your vehicle to ensure the most vehicle specific recommendations are being provided.
Q:how do i install this in a 1998 oldsmobile cutlass?
A:With reference to your inquiry on the BWD Oil Level Sensor - part# S8113, the oil level sensor on your Oldsmobile Cutlass should be on the driver's side and located in the side of the oil pan. The sensor has a two-wire wiring harness plugged into it. Unplug the wiring harness connector from the sensor by prying the tabs on either side of the plug away from the plug, then pulling the plug off the sensor. Unscrew the sensor with a wrench, by turning to the left. Pull it out of the oil pan. Screw the new oil level sensor into the oil pan and tighten it snugly, but be sure not to tighten it too much -- the metal oil pan walls are thin and bend easily. Plug the wiring harness connector into the sensor. A:It is near your drain plug so you will have to drain your oil. as you can see the o-ring on the part and one bolt holds it in the bottom of oil pan.
