Pros

  • Low cost

Cons

  • Does not fit

Best Uses

  • none

Comments about BWD Electrical Connector:

Connector's electrical contacts are deeper than OEM causing an intermittent or no connection with crankshaft position sensor. Once the connection looses contact, the vehicle will stall.

  • Q:

I blew the caps off my battery by the alternator overcharging. All gauges went dead, no lights and car didn't shift properly. Since engine didn't die and I drove 40 miles home I figure it's the voltage regulator. This says it's an exact fit for my 2007 Mercury Montego Premier. Can this be put on without removing the alternator?

      A:

Hi Corry, I am happy to help! The BWD pigtail is an exact fit for your vehicle although it fits multiple sensors. To be more specific, what is the sensor that you are referring to? So I can research more on the sensor location and the process of installing it.
