Happy to help with your question Jerry! This sensor does show to fit your 94 Ford Ranger 2.3. The sensor is located (while facing the engine) on the right lower side of the engine behind the oil pump pulley. Your local store has repair manuals you can look into for more specific information, or you can refer to a certified mechanic.

Hi Eman, To get more specific information on the location of crankshaft position sensor I would recommend purchasing a Chilton or Haynes Repair Manual for your vehicle, not only will it show the location and also explain how to install, but you'll find it handy for many more projects on your vehicle. The repair manual part number is 36071.
