WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE (BWD CSS39 AND THE CSS39P)THERE MUST BE A DIFFERENCE???????

        A:

Hi Danny, great question! The fit and function remains the same for both CSS39 and CSS39P. The only difference is CSS39 will be an exact O.E (Original Equipment) replacement while CSS39P matches the original, designed with the professional installer in mind. P-Series product competes with the OE and dealerships.

I have idel power, but when i push down on the gas there is very little power. Know it won,t start. I was told that it could be the crankshaft position sensor. Could this be true ? Thanks Tim in perry ohio

        A:

Hi Tim, good question! Crankshaft position sensor is one reason among the other common issues like a bad fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors and a clogged exhaust (tail pipe/ catalytic converter etc). I would recommend that you check with a certified mechanic to diagnose the exact cause of the low acceleration/power issue.

        A:

I'm happy to help, Bob! It sounds like you might have an issue with your distributor cap or rotor on your vehicle. Without the vehicle information it's hard to tell which part it may be, but from your description it sounds as though this vehicle should have a distributor. To get a diagnosis of the problem I would suggest having a certified mechanic take a look at the vehicle.
