      Under hood, driver side, upper engine area, end of cylinder head, mounted in top of water outlet.

      Answer given previous must be wrong; fan control switches are typically mounted in the radiator. The switch location described is for an engine coolant temperature sensor; it monitors engine coolant temp, it does not control fan operation.
