Q:I have a fisher minute man snow plow since new in 1997. Have always used ATF because it says to on pump and in manual- but is sluggish with sd winter cold. Would it be ok to switch to this fluid?
A:Yes Grizzly1, you can very well switch to this low-temperature hydraulic fluid for high-pressure snowplow hydraulic systems. The antiwear formula protects to -50 degrees Fahrenheit. It replaces Meyer 15134, Western 49311, Fisher 28531, Sno-Way 96005029 oils.
Q:Can I use this Snowplow oil in my Curtis Snowplow in place of the recommended P/N 1TBP123?
A:Hi SPARKY! great question! This snowplow oil replaces any of the following oils: Meyer 15134, Western 49311, Fisher 28531, Sno-Way 96005029.
Q:Need MSDS for this product.
A:Please refer this below link for MSDS
Q:is this the same as atf fluid just for a lower temperature?
A:No, this is oil for a snow plow.
A:ATF is fine for snowplows, but this stuff is better for its flow characteristics and protection of the pump. the best thing to use is manufacturer brand, but this is a close second. i actually never use ATF in a ford p/s pump though because they kill ATF. p/s fliud is better for that; doesn't burn up or thin out as fast. i'd prefer p/s fluid over ATF for my plow, but only if they didn't make this oil anymore. it doesn't slow down in colder temps like ATF or p/s fluid
Q:will this work on a boss snow plow
A:If you snow plow uses any one of the following oils, you can use this oil with it: Meyer 15134, Western 49311, Fisher 28531, Sno-Way 96005029
