Comments about Bussmann Fuse Panel for ATC Fuses - 30 Amps:

Can definitely handle the amperage it's rated for. my glow plugs draw 12.5amps a pop and i have four of them running off the block. They are also not the only circuit receiving power from the block. On that note, don't but this block in a non-waterproofed area without heavy use of dielectric grease on all terminals and the main hookup.

I use these on boats with very good results, the first one was in my boat for seven years it was still good when I replaced the boat, I am now on my third boat with this box , I am now building a camping trailer and will use this box in it. I would highly recommend this product.

Comments about Bussmann Fuse Panel for ATC Fuses - 30 Amps:

I like the idea but felt that it was a little bit on the light duty side. I have a hard time believing it can handle 30 amps on each of the output contacts. I feel that it could handle 10 to 15 amps on the contacts but 30 is pushing it. I think it would melt down with 30 amps going through just one of the contact let alone 6 of them.

            • Q:

Why does the MFG documentation state 30A output service for all 5600 series fuse blocks and the product packaging states 20A output (per CKT). Also, The MFG states 100A max input and the packaging states 95A input max. Is this a consumer safety margin? Which is correct?

Are the silver ones showing is that the ground portion of this panel. I see a total of 12 prongs on it. I don't have any instructions on this panel. I purchased a Maxi Taxi and this is what I am seeing on a board. I also have something for the turn signals as well with one red wire and green. I am assuming that the red goes directly to a fuse and the green goes to the silver ones. If you have any instructions or know how I can get to see some please let me know. Thanks Dean
