Comments about Bully Truck Hitch Brake Light - Ford:

I just purchased this at my local Advanced Auto. It looks just like it is pictured, and is completely plastic. It easily fits into my 2" receiver of my class III hitch, and fits properly with the included foam gasket.
It lights up whenever I hit my brakes, and adds visibillity to other drivers.
The only downside of this cover is that the wiring comes out the front. If it came out the back I would give it a perfect rating.
I would suggest that if you do purchase this cover, you also invest in a pin lock so that it locks and secures the cover in place(so it won't be stolen).
I was unsure of purchasing it after reading the only two reviews, but went for it anyway. I am definitely glad I did!

Comments about Bully Truck Hitch Brake Light - Ford:

Looks nice but doesn't line up with the pin holes in my receiver, which makes it rattle I'm sure but can't be heard from the cab. Purchase a locking pin or it could be stolen easily.

Comments about Bully Truck Hitch Brake Light - Ford:

I purchased one and it didn't work.....neither did the 2nd or 3rd ones I exchanged them for. My wiring harness on my truck is fine. I bench tested each unit and none of them worked. This is just pure [*] junk.

It plugs into your existing wiring if you have a factory trailer towing package and lights up red like a third brake light.

This will light up when the brake is pressed but the light will be red.

If you are looking for one that lights up blue like the Ford emblem you better check the driving laws in your state. Most states only allow red lights on the rear of a vehicle so as not to be confused with Police or Emergency vehicles.
