Comments about Brute Force Universal Joint:

I put a set of these in my truck 195,000 miles ago with zero problems. Just noticed a little roughness in one bearing while I had the driveshaft out for another repair. Just installed another identical set. I use my truck for towing trailers and heavy loads at times and these just take the use and keep on going.

These fit OK with my 1999 GMC Sierra, rear of drive shaft. The other ones, even though they say are for your vehicle, dont. Mine required the caps all the same size with open slip rings.

I believe what you are thinking of is the cv joint which is part of the front drive axle, in which case it is not the part. This part connects the drive shaft to the flange yoke which connects to the front differential. Hope this is helpful.
