IF YOU BUY IN THE STORE - MAKE SURE DUST CAP IS ATTACHED!!!!

By

from Brandon, FL

Comments about Briggs & Stratton 1+ Gas Can:

Important!!! If you buy this in the store, make sure the Dust Cap is attached to the spout as it shows in the picture!!! I got one WITHOUT a Dust Cap, and only figured it out when I first tried to use it. Shame on that Advance Auto Parts Store for selling me an incomplete product!! :(

Comments about Briggs & Stratton 1+ Gas Can:

I purchased a new Hitachi gas string trimmer and I needed a new gas can for the special mixture of gas and oil. This can does the job just fine. The red plastic container is thick plastic, not the thin stuff. When the cap or funnel is attached on the can opening correctly, there is no fuel leakage whatsoever. To pour fuel, you have to turn the green lock sleeve and pull back on the funnel to lock the assembly in place; it can be kind of awkward, but it work great with use. I checked online for many different cans from many different place; this is one of the best cans (for its size) available.

Comments about Briggs & Stratton 1+ Gas Can:

I use this can for gasoline for my lawn mower. The small size, 1 gallon, means the fuel doesn't get too stale in the can (1 gallon lasts 4-6 weeks). I like the design of this can. It is the nicest plastic gas can I have ever owned. The pressure venting operation step, as well as the way the gas flow occurs only when pressure is applied against the spout, e.g., by pressing it against the fill opening on the lawn mower, are great safety features! I am glad that I decided to purchase this model instead of some of the others I have seen.

Comments about Briggs & Stratton 1+ Gas Can:

I use the product to store gas for trimmer. Some cans are to hard to use because of the tpye ofsafety locks they use. This can is much better
        with my disability.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
