Q:What is the difference between up street and down streem
A:Hi Eric, that's a good question! The upstream is before the catalytic converter, downstream is after the catalytic converter. The upstream sensor tells how the engine runs whereas the downstream sensor only tells if the catalytic converter is going bad. On some cars both sensors are the same part number, or the only difference is the length of wiring.
