                Comments about Bosch Oxygen Sensor:

It only took a couple of minutes to install. I sprayed some penetrating oil on a few hours prior on the old one, so that might have helped. Once installed, check engine light came off and truck seemed to run better.

my mechanic said the part I buy should be OE. Is this Bosch Premium O2 Sensor an OE part? Also, which oxygen sensors are OE and which are not on your website?

Yes Tim! You are correct. This oxygen sensor will work as both the bank 1 (left) sensor 2 and bank 2 (right) sensor 2 for your vehicle.

                • Q:

Which O2 sensor is the Bank 1, Sensor 2 for my 2004 Jeep Liberty limited, 4WD, 3.7L.

I don't understand the downstream, upstream, etc.

                  Thanks

                    A:

Bank 1 means the side of the motor that the number 1 cylinder is on. Sensor 2 or downstream is the oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter or the one farthest from the engine along the exhaust on that side.
