Q:where does 02 sensor for a 1998 diamante wire harness connect on the car. The sensor plugs into the bottom of the car but can't see harness connection. Just bought from you. Thanks
A:Your Mitsubishi Diamante relies on information received from its oxygen sensors to regulates its performance and emissions. Faulty oxygen sensors can cause drivability problems, rough idle and increased fuel consumption. Your Diamante has four oxygen sensors: two located before the catalytic converter and two located after the catalytic converter. Prior to replacing an oxygen sensor have your Mitsubishi scanned with a OBD2 scanner. The scanner will give you a code as well as a brief diagnosis. The diagnosis will also include the location of your faulty sensor.
