Comments about Bosch Oxygen Sensor:

It's an oxygen sensor. What is there to say about an oxygen? It worked. It fit perfectly. The code went away. I passed emissions. These parts combined with a new MAF increased my MPGs. That's really all there is to it.

      Comments about Bosch Oxygen Sensor:

So far, so Good. Easy to install. I have definitely noticed an improvement in performance (torque, gas mileage) since I replaced my old with these new Bosch O2 sensors in my 2003 BMW 530i.

These where easy to change, once I reset my computer the codes never returned plus the car feels and drives better and almost two more mpg, just don't forget to get some PB blaster or WD-40 to break them loose

Where are the upstream stream sensors located, under the car or on the left (passenger) side of the engine?

From your question it sounds like you have a 6 cylinder engine, i.e. the 'left side' comment. If true, then 'both' of your upstream sensors are on the exhaust manifolds on the 'left' side. Bank one is the 'front' 3 cylinders, bank 2 is the 'back' 3 cylinders. For that matter, sensor one implies 'upstream' (of the cat) and sensor two is 'downstream', (after the cat). Note: you will need either a sensor removal tool or a 7/8 inch crow foot to make this a simple removal job.
