Comments about Bosch OE Fine Wire Iridium Spark Plug:

I've used Bosch plugs for years - I like them. But the gap info on the packages is a bit misleading and usually 1 of 4 in a package is a bit off. EG the package for these says 0.044 or 1.1mm. But if you calculate it (Google: 1.1mm in inches) it should say 0.043in. The reason is English measure wire gapping tools never have 0.043, but they have 0.044 ('close enough').
To get metrics I've found a disc shaped gap measuring tool (from Advance) is nice because you can read both on it (but the side electrode benders on a wire gapping tool is still needed). In this package 3/4 were actually 0.041 in / 1.04mm which was actually perfect as my 2004 Hyundai Elantra manuals say 1.0 - 1.1mm, .039 - .043 in. But 1 was at 0.040 so I regapped it to match the others.
Caution: don't try regapping unless you're super careful. Platinum plugs are tricky enough but these Iridium plugs have super fine central electodes and you don't want to damage them.

Comments about Bosch OE Fine Wire Iridium Spark Plug:

After 170,000 miles, my spark plugs needed to be replaced. After some extensive research, I selected the Bosch Iridium spark plug because of the Bosch reputation and the reasonable price. The installation was somewhat difficult for the rearmost driverside plugs. I was glad that I invested in the special plug removal tool, actually an open end wrench bent at a certain angle to provide leverage. The special tool reduces the possibility of damage to the very expensive spark plug wires.

Comments about Bosch OE Fine Wire Iridium Spark Plug:

This is an exceptional plug. Its design is outstanding producing a superior flame front.
This plug assures not only reliable ignition (due to a more concentrated higher energy / volume spark)but also effectively increases timing (though initial molecular collision rate) which is necessary given today's lower energy gasoline blends. You can't go wrong. Efficiency improves - resulting in better conversion of chemical bond energy to useful work = more power and better fuel economy.

Comments about Bosch OE Fine Wire Iridium Spark Plug:

I replaced the Bosch platinum plugs in my 96ram
5.9-v8 after 14 years and 60,000 mi of dependable service with the new Bosch Iridium plugs. The old plugs were still working fine but I was worried that after 14 years of service they would be seized and hard to remove. Not so! The quality of Bosch spark plugs is so good that the threads did not rust which made removal relatively easy. Go with these plugs and you will notice a smoother idle and improved throttle response with more power and you don't have to worry about them getting stuck.
