      Quality Module Assembly

Comments about Bosch Fuel Pump Module Assembly with Sending Unit:

I installed the pump in a very short time through the back seat of my 2003 Chevrolet Impala. The access panel was in fact easily accessible, just pop out the bottom of rear seat and remove 2 nuts holding the rear seat back and slide back of seat up and out and fold up the insulation and that made it easy to remove the access panel which exposed the fuel module. Then disconnect the electrical connections, fuel lines and remove the snap ring which holds the module in the fuel tank. Then just lift module assembly out carefully and install the new one carefully.

Worked great on my 2000 Impala. Utilizes the trap door under the carpet in the trunk. Install was about an hour. Could have done it quicker, but I didn't want to spill and fuel inside the car. Awesome product.

Hi Rabbitt, glad to help you! This part is an exact fit for your 2000 Buick Century Custom. The installation process depends upon the skill level of the person performing the operation. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. Unfortunately we are unable to diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle without being able to be there with your vehicle. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

                        A:

Open the trunk and lift the carpet up towards the seat on your Grand Prix. Look under the carpet for the access panel cover that is screwed into the floor. Remove the screws that hold down the panel cover by twisting them counterclockwise with the flathead screwdriver until they come out. Set the screws and the panel cover aside. Squeeze the ends of the plastic hose connectors together and pull the hoses out. Unplug the wiring harness. Hammer the flathead screwdriver around the lock ring in a clockwise motion to loosen it. Then pull the lock ring straight out. Push the new pump down manually and put the lock ring back into its original position. Click the hoses back into place.
