Comments about Bosch Fuel Pump Module Assembly with Sending Unit:
For all the work to pull the gas tank, I'm glad I bought the better Bosche pump. Engine was stalling occasionally on my 96 GMC Jimmy. Shop said fuel pump seemed to be working, so they wanted to replace injection system ($800). I thought symptoms seemed more like low fuel pressure, so I changed the pump myself ... and it fixed the problem! Bosche pump matched electrical connections where cheaper alternatives would have needed mods. Still, it was a little difficult to install - tight fit in tank (seat one side tight and lock down with circlip, them push other side home to get circlip all the way around). But hardest part was filler tube hose-to-tank. I think I only got the rubber over the neck on the tank after fighting it so long that the rubber warmed and softened enough to stretch.
