Comments about Bosch Fuel Pump Module Assembly:
This part is a direct replacement for the factory one. Installation was straight forward. On my application, I had to cut the two wires coming from my pump housing and solder/shrink tube the new wires to the old. I dont know about durability as I have only had it in for a short time, but it is a Bosh and guaranteed for life. My advise it to spend the extra money and get the best. You only want to do this job once.
PS. The pick-up screen comes with this pump. No need to order one. Do you hear that "Geo the parts guru"?

Q:1990 Ford F150 4cy dual fuel tanks. I am a DIY mechanic and I need to know if there is anything other than a fuel pump and screen that I will most likely need to replace at the same time. Also It seems as though one or both of the fuel tanks have a leak. I believe the leak is right on top of the tank and may not be the tank itself. What should i be looking for and what should I order to fix this? On both questions I will need to know the parts to order and how to drop and put back on. Thanks
