Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:

I put this in my 1990 Buick yesterday to replace the second cheap brand (starts with A) sold here, that failed after less than 25,000 miles. The first one failed around 36,000, but the filter fell off of it, so I didn't blame the manufacturer. This pump makes no sound on start up. It appears to be well balanced. The last one was loud. It had apparently been dropped before I bought it, and was dented on the bottom. This pump was sealed in a plastic bag and had a protector installed over the intake. Even if it doesn't last any longer, at least it has a lifetime warranty. The last one failed in 1 1/2 years, warranty was just 1 year! If you plan on keeping your car, don't waste your time, like I have, buying the cheapies. Spend a little more ($30), and have some insurance.
