Quiet operating; Lower amperage draw; More consistent fuel delivery; Always reliable.

If your retrofitting any 4.3, 5.0, 5.7, or 7.4 Vortec motor into any of the 87-91 R or V series Chevy/GMC trucks; This is the pump you want. This pump will directly replace the original low pressure TBI fuel pump perfectly. I swapped this pump into my truck in anticipation of my 7.4 Vortec transplant. The tbi motor ran better and my transplanted Vortec 7.4 runs like a champ in the old body style GM truck.

This pump is worth every penny.

I replaced the fuel pump thinking it was bad, but it was the relay instead.I have had this in the 94 S-10 blazer 4.3 vortec (W) and this Bosch pump failed in less than 1yr. The other pump I took out is not a name brand but it still works after 5yrs. And the Bosch pump gave me no warning It just stopped. This is the third time I have to take this tank out...Sucks And I had to leave something called a Fuel Pump Pulse Regulator off because it would not fit on this new pump.

Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:

Installed what I thought was supposed to be a superior pump to the competitors and stopped working after 2 months! (I'm obviously not the only one) I've had cheap pumps that last at least a year. Why would I pay money for another pump like this if the company who manufactured it cannot keep it's stardards? Not particularly an easy job dropping this full fuel tank either.

Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:

Kit included everything needed, and more, to replace pump in factory assembly. Instructions/diagrams of what parts to use would have been helpful - but not needed for the everyday mechanic. Pump is quieter than stock unit - you get a high quality German made product at a non-German price.

Bought it due to the lifetime warranty and sale price. Never thought I would need it, especially after a few starts. PSI is off by 10. Alot of work, spend the extra 25.00 for the AC Delco.

This kit comes with more then enough parts in it to do the job. Replacing a fuel pump is fairly straight forward but this kit did not have any instructions in it. Really did not need any but got me worried when I saw I was not even using half the parts in the kit.

Pros: Lifttime warranty, rare these days. Very quiet. Reasonable price. Works fine.

Cons: Not a direct fit. Bottom mount is not quite right, wire connector requires (supplied) jumper, somewhat shorter than original pump.
