Couple times I started my car and the whole block of my neighborhood was just cover with smoke from my car. It was rather embarrasing. Everyone thought my car was on fire. I talked to a mechanic and he mentioned that it would cost from $1K-2K to replace the head gasket. Car only worth a few hundred $. So I decided to give this Blue Devil Pour-n-Go a try. Follow the direction as directed. After let it idle for the time required. Shut off engine and let sit a while, when back to start, no smoke. Next morning added more antifreeze and start the car up, no smoke. I go, "really, amazing! thank you Lord!" For the short time being, this thing really does work. Wow! This was done to a 96' Toyota Previa S/C.

I've used this product numerous times! I even called another company that said (keep using that product if I was getting that type of performance from it) and that it does not make since to switch to our product.. Company name I can't mention, but does the same for Blown Head Gaskets.

Comments about BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go:

Really easy application with quick and positive results.I have used blue devil pour and go on at least four vehicles, from straight four cylinders to V-eights and it worked every time. Other head gasket sealers that I have tried were hit and miss at best, but pour and go sealed the leaking gasket consistently.

Comments about BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go:

Prior to using the product, we were not experiencing overheating. We used the product exactly per instructions on the bottle. As the car started overheating immediately, we were unable to complete the idle time. This product completely gummed up the cooling system. After several flushing sessions, the car continues to overheat. We need to take it to a mechanic to be fixed.

I used the product exactly as shown on the bottle. It worked for the first week and then it stopped working and the problem went from bad to now I can't drive my car! Thanks Blue Devil! Life lesson, take it to a mechanic and pay the fees, at least I would still be able to drive my car!

I bought this Blue Devil product in hopes it would last longer then the Bars Leak treatment I added a year ago. The BD sealed the leak long enough to cure the #2 missfire OBD code so I could pass the emissions test. Within 2 weeks the missfire code was back and the antifreeze was disappearing in the reserve. At $38 a bottle, it was really a waste of money and I'm going back to Bars Leak. It lasted for almost a year.

My son bought a PT Cruiser a few months back and it's been running hot and over flows.....didn't do that in the beginning but it does it often now. Radiator and fan are new as is the thermostat. Coolant system has been bleed a few times and it still runs hot. I was a told the next option would be a head gasket job or trying this Blue Devil head gasket product. I'm at a loss and hope maybe you can give me some info on whether this may work

                    A:

Hi Gilbert Monroy, glad to assist you! This BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go - Part No. 00209 is a permanent leak repair and sealant for head gaskets, heater cores, freeze plugs, and cooling system leaks. Start the engine while cold, then turn the heater on max. With engine idling, slowly pour BlueDevil into the radiator. (If the vehicle does not have a radiator cap you may pour BlueDevil in through the top radiator hose. Take 1 minute pour time for entire bottle.) We recommend that the thermostat is removed and left out of the system while BlueDevil is being run through; this allows for free flow. You do not necessarily have to replace the thermostat as you can reinstall your old thermostat after the process is complete. A:

Hi Dean, I'm glad to assist you. If you are unable to add this BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go (Part No. 00209) directly into the radiator, you have to pour the entire bottle directly into the upper radiator hose and then reattach the hose, which you also must do on a completely cold engine or you will clog your cooling system. You may have to remove a small amount of coolant from the hose to make room for the blue devil. Please make sure that the air may not introduced into the system while removing the hose.

                    A:

Hi Hubcap, I'm glad to assist you. This BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go (Part No. 00209) is intended for the customer seeking a single repair on a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. However, you can still use the BlueDevil Pour-N-Go Head Gasket Sealant for V8 engines. You would need at least two bottles of the product. The amount of the Head Gasket Sealer used would be determined by the vehicle's cooling system capacity. If the capacity is around 4.5 gallons, then two bottles would be enough. If the capacity is closer to 6 gallons, that would require three bottles. For further assistance, please contact BlueDevil technical support line at 888-863-0426.

Hi Mike, I'm glad to assist you. This BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go (Part No. 00209) is a less concentrated formula that does not require the removal of the thermostat or a flush of the cooling system prior to use. It contains no solid or particulate matter that can harm a vehicles engine.

                    A:

I'm glad to assist you, Tamara! You have a choice here...the BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Pour N Go - Part No. 00209 (white label) is a less concentrated formula that does not require the removal of the thermostat or a flush of the cooling system prior to use. Whereas, the BlueDevil Head Gasket Sealant - Part No. 38386 (yellow label) requires both the removal of a thermostat and a flush before applying the product, this is the more concentrated formula. The product with the yellow label will give you better overall results as long as you can remove the thermostat and flush the system prior to use. However, if the thermostat is difficult to remove or you would rather not, then you can always use the "Pour N Go". With the use of either product, be sure to follow the guidelines for the proper amount to use. Based on your capacity, you will be using 16 ounces either way.
