Comments about Bell Automotive 12 Volt Flexible Map Light :

This light gives off enough brightness to see adequately without obstructing or blinding me for night driving. It is good for reading maps and just general lighting. I sometimes leave it on while driving to help "balance" my vision with the bright lights of other vehicles.

in your description of this light . you say the switch ,to turn it on and off is on the lighter plug. i see gripper rises to pull out the power end that goes into the 12 volt recepticle. i see a switch up on the light housing itself...no where else...can you clear this up for me? i cant use this model if the switch is on the base plug, as my dash indents too much to grasp the switch...thanks ........doug

Sorry for the confusion. Power on/off switch is located on the light housing like you mentioned.
