      Hi Dan, glad to assist you! The temperature sender switch on your Hyundai Elantra should be located in the thermostat housing, which is on the down right side of the engine.

      Hi Aly, great question! The temperature sender switch on your 2003 Toyota Tacoma would be located on the driver side of the lower intake plenum near the fire wall.

    I have a 1991 Corolla, It runs good most of the time. however it occationally will be running and just die. this ussually does not last long. after a few mineuts it will start back up and run for a while longer.this can happen all day long. I have recently downloaded the trouble code from the ECU, and the only code that appears is is one for the Coolent Tempiture switch. the Question, Can the coolent temp. switch cause this malfuntion.

      There could be a number of reasons for your vehicle to stall ocassionally. I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

      The temperature switch is located approximately at the center of the right side of the block, above the starter, and below the exhaust manifold.
