      A:

The PCV valve is located under hood, upper engine area, mounted in intake manifold in your 1994 Nissan Altima. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to a reputable shop to have them take a look at it to determine the cause.

The PCV valve is located on top of the valve cover. Its toward the rear of the engine just around where the air snorkel passes over the valve cover.

  • Q:

You say this fits a 1997 Nissan Altima GXE 2.4. O.K. Where does it go since there is no listing by Nissan for the part so I've been told? I own a 1997 Altima and it has over 200,000miles and I own all but 30,000 of them and I have yet to find one and I've followed every hose and nothing at least where it should be, somewhere on the topside of the motor (valvecase or intake).

      A:

If you have the hood up and you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine, this should be located on the back corner on the driver side of the valve cover. There should be a rubber hose that goes from it to the air intake tube.
