Comments about Beck/Arnley Paper Cabin Air Filter:

I had to really replace my filter, as it was really restricting the air flow through my a/c. My old filter was overly clogged and this filter made it much better and now I've been getting much more air flow. Great buy.

Comments about Beck/Arnley Paper Cabin Air Filter:

I used this to replace my cabin filter in my Honda CRV year 2007. I had had it replaced by the dealer previously thinking it was a difficult filter to replace but looked on Youtube and saw it was as simple as pie. It simply involves removing the glove box which only requires pushing in two side buttons and then removing the box. Next, all you have to do is pull out the old filter and clean the holding box. Then replace it with the new filter just purchased and there you go. A piece of cake. Wished I'd known this before.

The undervalued cabin air filter needs to be replaced every so often. After all we breathe what gets through it, so when its messy so is our air.

The cabin air filter should be located behind the glove box, there is a little latch that holds the glove box in place. Pull out the rectangular housing that hold the filter, swap out the old with the new cabin air filter.

                        A:

The cabin air filter should be located in the top right corner for a small, gray, rectangular compartment with a removable lid. This is the cabin air filter compartment. Take off the lid. Pull the filter out gently. When you get the first filter clear of the case, you will see that it is hinged with a second filter behind it. Tilt the first filter up to detach the hinges, then remove the second filter. Take out your new filters and slip the hinges inside one another. Push the new filters into the filter case just like the old ones were installed, then replace the lid on the filter case.

Cabin filters are generally found in one of two locations: under the hood or under the dash board.

Assuming it is in a similar location to the 2009 CRV, try looking in the glovebox, of all places. You will actually have to unhinge the glovebox so the door drops completely out of the way and there is then enough room to remove/install the filter.

For my 2006 honda accord, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment box, its very easy to do, first time i did it it took me 8 minutes to complete, but after i knew how to do it, it took me just one minute to complete. I totally agree with you not to pay Honda company to do this, its the most simplest and easiest thing anyone can do. I mean anyone can do it. There are videos on youtube for different cars , that shows how you can change your cabin filter, its alot easier viewing a video then me writing out here, just check out youtube, put in make and model and follow what the guy on the video says, make sure you put in honda and your car name, and then search for it, you should be able to find something on it.
Well, I wish you good luck.
                        take care.
