Comments about Beck/Arnley Fuel Filter:

I would have given this product 5 stars if:
a. there were 2 new o-rings with the new filter
OR
b. instructions to alert me to us my old o-rings

I found out the hard way. My car wouldn't start because there was no o-rings installed with the new filter. Its a good thing I saved the old filter. I had to remove the assembly from the gas tank, inspect the filters thoroughly, insert the o-rings from my old filter to the new filter. Once re-installed, my car started back up.

      A:

Hi Lacimp, glad to assist you! The fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank. You will have to remove the fuel pump assembly in order to replace the filter, but luckily there is an access door in the trunk so you don't have to drop the tank. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
