    Comments about Beck/Arnley Engine Mount:

The Beck-Arnley 104-1097 is the correct part for DC4 Acura Integra's (1994-2001) with AUTOMATIC transmissions. This part replaces Honda Part number 50842-ST0-N81. This part is NOT for manual transmissions. The front engine/ torque mounts are NOT interchangeable because the frame on vehicles that shipped with automatic transmissions have a "bump out" spot welded to the frame. I tried to upgrade the mounts to the heavier MT mounts, but they will not fit w/out grinding the frame bumps off.

    Tools:
    1. 14mm, 17mm, 19mm sockets
    2. 1/2" socket wrench & extensions
    3. 1/2" torque wrench
    4. Floor jack, 2x4, old shirt
    5. Jack Stands
    6. Liquid Wrench penetrating oil
    7. Disposable screwdriver
    8. Permatex Silver Anti-Seize
    9. Wire brush
    10. Patience

    To install:
    1. Lift the car and support the front w/ jack stands.
    2. Place the jack under the oil pan with a 2x4 and an old shirt over the jack lift.
    3. Remove the driver's side tire.
    4. Remove or loosen the drivers side splash shield & fender liner.
    5. Spray mount's center bolt with Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster.
    6. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts holding the torque mount to the frame.
    7. From the engine bay, carefully use a 1/2" socket wrench w/ extension to loosen the primary driver's side engine mount nuts (3). DO *NOT* remove the nuts.
    8. Use the floor jack to raise the engine SLIGHTLY and then let it down so that it will sag about 1/2".
    9. Remove the center nut on the torque mount (use vice grips to hold the center stud still if necessary).
    10. Use a disposable screwdriver to twist/ wiggle the old torque mount out and replace.
    11. Use wire brush to clean bolts/ nuts & apply light coat of Silver Anti-Seize.
    12. Use the jack to lift the engine back into place and then torque the bolts on the replacement torque mount to 33 ft-lbs.
    13. Tighten the center nut to 43 ft-lbs.
    14. Re-tighten the primary engine mount nuts to 38 ft-lbs.
    15. Reinstall the splash shield, fender lining, and driver's side tire.
    16. Be smart and check the other (2) torque mounts (in rear and by passenger's side tire) for dry rot--if they're all the same age, they're probably all in the same condition.

    Other thoughts:
My Beck mount had the Honda Part Number stamped on it w/out the Honda logo. In this case, I'm going to assume that this part was sourced from the original supplier to Honda. Also, you shouldn't have to raise/ lower the engine for the other two torque mounts (104-1109 and 104-1115). With its thicker flashing, I found the new Beck mount to be suffiently stiff while holding the engine in place (probably 2nd revision). If it's not stiff enough for you, try cleaning w/ alcohol and adding 3M Urethane Window Adhesive (08609) to the gaps in the lower torque mounts. Give it 24 hrs to cure before installation. Good luck!

      Comments about Beck/Arnley Engine Mount:

You will have to twist the mount a little to install it. Be sure to start the bolt by hand because it will be at an angle. I decided to use blue thread lock and only tightned until the rubber part started to twist. Also, on the old one, the nut was so tight I had to place the stopper bolt in a vise and use an impact to loosen it.

2001 Honda CRV 2.0 DOHC with automatic "real time" drive. I am assuming this means AWD as it states in my Haynes manual.
The mount I am trying to find is the one on the front drivers side looking at the crankshaft pulley this mount would be just left of the crankshaft pulley. Please confirm.
                Thank you.
