  • Q:

How do I install this? I have found several videos online for installing similar on audi, but nothing that matches my exact model (1998 audi cabriolet) I have not been able to find where in the engine compartment I can find this part to replace it.

Hi William, the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor would be located in the large coolant pipe that runs across the back of the engine, on the drivers side. This sensor sends input to the fuel system. The Electronic Engine Coolant Temperature Switch is also located in the same pipe, passenger's side, and sends info to the temperature gauge in the instrument cluster.
