Q:i have a1993 lexus gs300 and i do not know where the cabin filter gos?
A:Hi Bill, with reference to your inquiry on the Beck/Arnley Activated Charcoal Cabin Air Filter -part# 042-2116, you can gain access to the cabin filter on your Lexus GS 300 through the glove compartment. Under the section where the CD changer is, there should be a plastic piece towards the back of the glove box where it looks like it connects to the car. This piece should slide off if you push in and then up. Once that is off, there is another plastic door that will be exposed that also slides off, but take a little bit more pressure. It will come off, you won't break it. Once that is off, then you will see a tray that slides out of the compartment and this contains your air filter. Remove the old filter and put the new one in, then repeat the above steps in reverse.
