Comments about Beck/Arnley Cabin Air Filter:

This was installed along with a blower motor replacement. There was no original filter installed but this fit perfectly in the empty filter slot.

I order online and pick up at my local shore. Easy to install. It looks similar as OEM one installed in my Infiniti I30, 2000.

Comments about Beck/Arnley Cabin Air Filter:

The OEM cabin air filter in my 02 Maxmia SE is a single piece while his Beck/Arnley replacement is two pieces that stack on each other in the same space. These fit in the opening just fine, and there are little grooves so that they slide together well, but I would hardly call them air tight. If you put them together before you install them in your car you'll see the gap between the two pieces. Even pushing the pieces together with a little force doesn't create a good seal.

My old filter was dirty from top to bottom so I don't see how this can really be considered a replacement when there's a big gap in the middle. All of my Internet research pointed to this kit as the right parts though so I'm not sure what to think. It just seems odd that it's not a single piece replacement that ensures a solid fit and no particulate matter to go flying through the middle. I think next time I'll go to a dealer and see what they think.

on 2000 and 2001 it's optional. In your glove box there will be label letting you know if its equipped. If it is NOT, you can decide to put one in. If it is, you need to remove the screws around your glove box and panel. This will allow you to drop your glove box and access the filters.

1)unscrew the glove compartment, 6screws(2bottom, 2top inside, 2latch). 2)pull out glove compartment unhooking airbag wires and light wires. 3) pull off metal latch on filter compartment cover, slide cover up, pull off. 4)remove air filters 5)replace new filters ensuring that they are placed in the same position as the previous filters. 6) Replace filter compartment cover and latch. 7)Screw in glove compartment

If it's for a Maxima, the cabin air filter is located beneath and below the glove box.
