      • Q:

I just bought 6 of these plugs to put in my 1988 BMW 325iX. I got two loose and a box of 4 at my local store, all with the same SKU and the same part no. The ones in the box do NOT have removable screw-on plug wire ends, as I discovered when I actually twisted the entire electrode right out of the spark plug on 3 of the 4 plugs in the box before I realized what was going on. I'm just wondering what the heck is going on, since they were all supposedly the same, but clearly the other two loose plugs (which came with screw-on wire ends loose in the box) are not the same as the 4 in the box. Since they were advertised as working with my car, and my car requires the threaded post and not the American car-style screw-on smooth plug wire adapter, I will be taking the damaged plugs to a local store to have them replaced with ones that have the adapter loose in the box to be sure I get plugs that will work properly.
