I first condemmed this plug in its regular form. When I drove a similar car as mine I asked what do you use and he said AP3923. I bought a set and noticed faster take off and smoother idle. My old plugs had only 8 thousand miles on them. As gfar as adjusting gap as one review stated it bent the tool, If you use the gauge properly you wont have any trouble. On good gauges there is a indent to gap plugs without touching the inside of plug. Works great. Just now like the plug.

I've used these in ski boats with high performance Vortec V-8 motors, a 5.9 liter Durango, and DOH cam 4 cyl Saturns -- always with great results. Very long lasting, reliable plug. Terrific value.

Yes, if your vehicle owner's manual calls for 0.028 – 0.031", it is better to adjust the gap as to avoid intermittence.
